The Visiting Scholar Programme (VScP) has been instituted at IGIDR as one of its outreach activities with the objective of supporting research being conducted by Ph.D scholars and junior faculty members of Colleges and Universities in India. The scholarship will enable selected scholars to spend three continuous months to work on a proposal that can be satisfactorily completed during their stay.

The Visiting Students Program at IGIDR is part of the institute’s mandate to reach out to the larger academic community, to foster interactions and nurture the capacity of students to undertake research. Students in the 1st year Master’s program (M.A., M.B.A., M.Com., M.Sc. and M.Stat.), 3rd year engineering program (B.E, B.Tech.) or 4th year of integrated Master’s Program.
